Synopsis

Struggling film body double Sophie is a dead ringer for A-list star Violet. When Violet is caught in a major scandal, Sophie is made to impersonate her at public events from red carpets to awards. Nolan, who loves Violet, first notices small clues and sees through the lie. Sophie accidentally finds an old photo album and learns she and Violet are long-lost twins. After an emotional reunion, they reconcile. Tired of empty fame, Violet quits acting. Together they launch the Body Double Protection Association, fighting for doubles' legal rights such as screen credits and healthcare. A documentary they produce shines a light on these overlooked workers, winning them long-overdue recognition.
